Tasks
We’re looking for a Data Analyst to support the transformation of complex datasets from multiple Local Authorities into a standardised schema. You’ll work across both digital and manual data sources, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality throughout the process. Join one of the UK Government’s most ambitious digital transformation programmes, helping to centralise Local Authority Land Charge registers into a single Land Registry system. -Compare pre- and post-transformation outcomes to ensure accuracy -Document transformation rules and maintain audit trails -Identify and fix data issues, including geometry and formatting errors -Contribute to process and tool improvements -Analyse and clean large datasets from varied sources -Collaborate with engineers to define technical requirements

What You Bring
Remote (UK only/Reading/Exeter) You’re a confident communicator with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for working with complex datasets. You bring a mix of technical expertise and stakeholder engagement skills, and you thrive in a collaborative environment. -Experience working with spatial data and GIS tools (e.g. QGIS, ArcGIS) -Knowledge of UK "human" geography i.e. planning (TPO, Plan Apps, Listed buildings) and constraints (Article 4, SSSI, CAs) -Advanced proficiency in Excel and SQL -Proven ability to manage, analyse and clean large, multi-source datasets -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities -Excellent communication skills across all stakeholder levels -Understanding of optimal methods for data capture and transformation -Knowledge of Local Authority processes is desirable
