Tasks

-Champion Kaizen/Rapid Improvement Events: Lead transformative events that drive substantial improvements across the South Bend facility. -Train and Empower: Serve as the ECIS tool expert, training and empowering team members to effectively utilize these tools. -Strategic Leadership: Serve as a key member of the South Bend Leadership team, contributing to strategy, direction, and continuous improvement efforts. -Support Operational Excellence: Collaborate with other areas of Operational Excellence, including EHS and EQMS, to drive comprehensive improvements. -Communicate Progress: Provide regular updates on continuous improvement status to the plant manager and staff, highlighting achievements and progress. -Craft the CI Roadmap: Develop and implement a comprehensive continuous improvement roadmap tailored to the South Bend manufacturing environment. -Engage and Inspire: Actively involve employees in continuous improvement events, the Ideas Program, and 5S initiatives, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. -Lead ECIS Deployment: Oversee the deployment and assessments of ECIS, ensuring successful implementation and integration. -Master Eaton Continuous Improvement Systems/Tools: Utilize Eaton Continuous Improvement Systems (ECIS) tools to optimize processes and enhance operational efficiency.

What You Bring

-Six Sigma Greenbelt Certification -Bachelor’s degree in industrial, mechanical, or other engineering degree from an accredited institution -Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing / continuous improvement experience -Minimum of 1 year experience leading project teams -Dynamic Leadership Role: Ideal for a proactive leader who excels in making a tangible impact in a manufacturing environment and driving positive change. -Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without company sponsorship. -Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution -Continuous Improvement (CI) Certifications
