Overview

Identify and analyze asbestos bulk samples following HSG248 and quality standards

Tasks

-Input bulk analysis data and generate accurate certificates using the electronic laboratory database -Maintain a clean, safe, and organised laboratory working environment -Support the promotion of the company’s services and maintain positive working relationships with clients -Ensure all samples are correctly booked in and processed through the laboratory system -Work in accordance with documented procedures, UKAS accreditation, and quality standards on a day-to-day basis -Report analysis results clearly and professionally to clients -Follow all health & safety rules and best practices while in the workplace -Contribute to internal quality control and external proficiency testing schemes -Carry out asbestos bulk sample identification in line with company quality procedures and HSG248 guidance

What You Bring

-Previous hands-on laboratory experience -Strong IT and data entry skills -Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team -BOHS P401 qualification (or equivalent) -Minimum of 2 years’ experience in asbestos bulk analysis
