Overview

Design noise control products, from concept to manufacturing, using CAD.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Assist production with manufacturing issues as required. -Utilizing 3D CAD software (SOLIDWORKS, SOLIDEDGE, AUTOCAD) for design and documentation. -Work with Application’s engineering team to come up with custom solutions as required by customer. -Do material estimates for projects and work with Purchasing teams to order materials in advance of production schedule. -Design noise control products for production from initial concept submittal to manufacturing details. -Supporting the product development process, ensuring manufacturability and cost efficiency. -Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement improvements.

What You Bring

-Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively with peers. -Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. -Knowledge of product development processes and design for manufacturability concepts. -Experience in sheet metal manufacturing or the HVAC industry (preferred). -Proficiency in 3D CAD software and MS Office applications. -3+ years of relevant experience. -B.S. in Engineering (Mechanical or equivalent).
