Tasks

-Meet client expectations for budget and schedule while delivering a quality product. -Increase proficiency in relevant design, modeling, and analysis software applications such as Revit, ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel, SteelSmart, and Simpson CFS Designer. -Increase your knowledge of local codes and industry standards. -Assist with budget estimates and write-ups for proposals. -Coordinate design work with other engineering and architectural disciplines. -Collaborate with teams of engineers and architects to complete project deliverables.

What You Bring

-B.S. Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, M.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering is preferred. -Professional Engineering (PE) license in the State of Washington or Oregon. -Technical skills: Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., ETABS, RISA, RAM Structural System, RAM Elements, RAM Concept, Enercalc, Excel). -Experience assembling calculation packages for submittal to agencies (DSA and HCAI a plus). -Knowledge of building codes, standards, and construction practices specific to high-seismic regions. -Revit experience including modeling and producing construction drawings is preferred. -5+ years of relevant structural engineering design experience (Concrete, Steel, Masonry, Wood). -Experience with seismic evaluations and retrofits per ASCE 41 a plus.
