Tasks

-Prepare and analyze actual financial results with appropriate comparison to historical performance. -Assist with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analyzing efforts. -Ensure accuracy and timely completion of all ad-hoc analyses and reports, metrics, and dashboards. -Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance. -Analyze and interpret information to develop actionable recommendations that impact the business. -Assist in the preparation of month end reporting and other various presentations. -Assist with the development of modeling tools for month-end, forecasts, and budgets. -Assist the accounting team with financial close process, and monthly reporting and analysis -Review and approve JEs, and reconciliations as per JSox requirements. -Assist with documenting processes and procedures. -Provide insights and recommendations on cash flow, cost identification and allocation, and risk management. -Prepare and analyze complex financial and operational data and provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for decision-making purposes and strategic initiatives. -Delivers quality results in a fast paced, deadline driven environment -Assist with the preparation of periodic cash flows, business activity reports, and financial position forecasts.

What You Bring

-Prior manufacturing accounting experience is necessary -Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Data Analytics, or related field is required, equivalent experience may be accepted -Able to tabulate statistical data and compile necessary reports -10+ years’ experience in controller, analyst role, or similar accounting experience is required -Excellent communication and organization skills -Has the ability to handle multiple high priority projects with accuracy -Intermediate / Advanced Excel competency is required -Able to maintain a high degree of confidentiality -Able to work with all ACD departments with professionalism -Ability to apply accounting principles to the maintenance of all Accounts and Finance records -EPICOR experience is preferred, but not required -Familiarity with the use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems -Intermediate to advanced Excel and Power Point skills required -Understanding of GAAP and financial analysis experience helpful -Ability to make involved and varied arithmetic computations rapidly and accurately
