Construction Engineering Intern

Overview

Assist engineers with admin, docs, field reports, and contractor compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks

-Assist the Resident Engineer, Office Engineer and Construction Engineer on all administrative tasks of the project in accordance with contract and Sound Transit specifications. -Assist the RE team with management of contract documents, distribution and tracking of comments between the design team, construction team and contractor for submittals, RFI's and work directives. -Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures -Support the field inspection team with daily reports, photo documentation, constructability reviews and overall contractor compliance.

What You Bring

-Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program -Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry -Basic Microsoft Office skills -Possess strong problem-solving and communication skills -Attention to detail -Prefer 2 years completed toward degree in Civil Engineering with 3.0+ GPA
