Commercial Electrical Estimator

Overview

Estimate commercial electrical projects, prepare bids, analyze plans, and liaise with clients.

Tasks

-Prepare the most cost-effective conceptual designs on design/build projects that will meet the expectations of the clients. -Work with other estimators to share resources (site visits, GC relationships, bid calendar updates) -Negotiation and continuous follow up with clients on proposals submitted. -Estimating of MEP systems on projects best suited for the growth and culture of Haller Enterprises, Inc. -Prepare written proposals and effectively communicate the proposal and scope of work to the customer. -Interact with counterparts to achieve individual division goals, as well as the overall success and profitability of the company. -Sketching of designs to forward to CAD operators to draft.

What You Bring

-Experience in understanding project blueprints, design drawings, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time/cost/equipment/labor/material estimates for projects and services. -Must be able to present acceptable documents evidencing identity and employment authorizations per the Federal I-9 requirement. -Experience with Trimble Estimation is a plus -Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. -3-10 years trade experience -Valid Driver's License required to operate company or personal vehicle for company business. -Experience with Bluebeam is a plus -Knowledge of the National Electric Code and NFPA 70E. -Knowledge of general construction practices.
