Enerven’s Substation Maintenance Group plays a critical role in the reliability of South Australia’s electricity network — conducting secondary systems testing across transmission and distribution systems and substations. The team is responsible for the maintenance, commissioning, and operation of high-voltage (HV) equipment for ElectraNet, as well as supporting a range of Technical Delivery Unit and external customer projects.

You will be a self-motivated and autonomous professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality work. With a solid background in substation operations and maintenance, you bring hands-on experience across secondary systems and a strong understanding of protection principles and relay interrogation.

- Knowledge and experience in maintaining high voltage secondary assets of transmission and distribution systems.
- Experience in reading and interpreting schematic and wiring diagrams
- Current First Aid and CPR qualification

- Proven capability to work effectively within a team or site work crew
- Very good computer literacy skills
- Transmission lines protection testing
- Demonstrated cognitive skills in relation to learning and understanding new skills and concepts
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and/or protection systems
- Current South Australian Drivers Licence; and
- Current SA Electrical worker registration
- High risk EWP and Forklift licences
- ElectraNet TAAMs accreditation
- Current SA Electrical Trade Certificate.
- Current construction industry white card
- Good customer liaison, communication and self-management skills
- Proven leadership skills
- High Voltage Switching Operator Accreditation (Cat 20 & Cat 2).
- Some experience testing relays with Omicron, Doble or other brand Primary and Secondary Test Equipment and associated software
- Circuit breaker protection testing
