The Role

Overview

Assist in landscape architecture design, drafting, and research using AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Lumion.

Tasks

-Collaborate with the design studio to prepare illustrations related to concept and design development and graphic communication. -Collaborate with internal design team including civil engineers, planners, and client’s consultant teams. -Prepare digital and hand drawings as needed to communicate master plan, design elements, and features. -Contributes to team by applying established procedures to solve routine tasks. -Conduct research and prepare site reviews and analyses. -Receives detailed instructions on all assigned tasks. -Responsible for learning fundamental concepts and methods for the delivery of landscape architecture projects to clients and jurisdictional reviewers. -Participate and take notes in design meetings and workshops. -Assist in the preparation of construction document packages.

What You Bring

-No prior experience required; intern experience is preferred. -Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture or related field of study. -Basic Knowledge in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Adobe Creative Suite and modeling programs such as Sketch-Up, Lumion and etc. -Learn and expand proficiency in key programs and software (AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion).
