The Role

Overview

Coordinate daily receiving & shipping, handle orders, documentation, and carrier communications.

Tasks

-Distribute/report daily carrier appointment failures. -Coordinate allocation and release of orders for processing to support Customer ship dates. -Update Carrier Systems with Customer Tracking Numbers as needed. -Ensure customer specific shipping instructions are adhered to – elimination of compliance fines. -Coordinate carrier equipment needs to support daily schedule demands. -Direct Spot Service on trailer/door assignments. -Prepare Labels, Bill of Ladings, Packing Slip in support of 25K+ orders annually. -Maintain shipment records and other related office files. -Coordinate delivery/unloading/documentation of 1500+ inbound containers annually. -Maintain daily communications with Customer Service on specific customer needs.

What You Bring

-Ability to work with general guidance or direction. -Knowledgeable in use of automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) -Ability to organize and maintain office functions in a fast pace shipping environment -High school diploma or completion of GED equivalent. -Three (3) years of inventory control, distribution, or similarly related experience. -Demonstrates excellent teamwork while promoting a positive work environment -Ability to work on and complete complex assignments. -Proficient computer skills with Excel, Word -Excellent verbal communication skills -Ability to work in a constant state of alertness. -Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
