Manage heavy civil construction projects, overseeing schedule, cost, risks, safety.

Tasks

-Conducts regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. -Oversees procurement or Buy-out process to ensure it adheres to set budget. -Establishes and promotes a safety culture. -Ensures the development & use of a CPM schedule throughout the life of the project. -Ensures subcontractors and suppliers are closely managed. -Directs project contract management to review, address and resolve contractual issues & claims. -Drives the pursuit of claims & change orders, tracks and reports on progress. -Establishes and maintains relationships with key business partners and stakeholders. -Evaluates employee's performance. -Identifies and mitigates risks to minimize project delays and cost overruns. -Manages employees by mentoring, coaching, providing feedback and assessing performance. -Influences the financial performance of a project by monitoring scheduling, forecasting, and cost control efforts. -Collaborates with engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve design issues and address any changes. -Closely monitors communicates risks, status etc. in project review meetings.

Requirements

  • bachelor's degree
  • 8 years
