Proving Technician II

Overview

Perform proving, inspection, and maintenance of liquid flow meters for customers.

Tasks

-Perform verification/calibration on meter communication transmitters, temperature transmitters, pressure transmitters, and other measurement related ancillary equipment. -Assist in the investigation and resolution of imbalance measurement situations. -Identify, report and correct safety and environmental concerns. -Conduct activities safely and responsibly and work in accordance with established safety and company requirements. -Must meet deadlines while working safely to ensure a quality product. -Detect measurement errors, correct volumes as needed and provide supporting documentation. -Prepare measurement calibration tickets documentation. -Safely drive to customer locations and perform the required work in a safe manner. -Troubleshooting of oil and gas facility automation equipment. -All employees who support partner companies are expected to follow the safety and employee conduct policies of the partner company which includes on-call obligations. -Performs all work in compliance with company standards, does not deviate from policies and procedures, and adheres to regulatory requirements. -Must maintain measurement calibration data and historical records. -Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements -Promote a positive working environment to achieve the organization’s goals.

What You Bring

-Requires effective time management skills, personal conduct, and change management abilities. -A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required. -Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record and 21 years of age to drive a Company Truck. -Must pass a post offer company drug and alcohol test -Excellent organization and planning skills. -Ability to effectively interact with co-workers, clients, vendors, and other business contacts. -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States -Knowledge and experience with Oil and Gas Industry processes -Must be able to complete the proving, inspection, troubleshooting and maintenance of a wide range of liquid flow meters. -Experience with liquid flow meters and their components -Must be a leader who represents the organization with the ability to be a liaison to our customers, adhere to company standards, and resolve issues with urgency and professionalism. -Proficient in the process of LOTO. -Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are required. -Ability to troubleshoot problems and work in adverse weather conditions -Must comply with Roeslein & Method Flow’s core values for the safe and efficient operation of the business and the commitment to maintain respectful relationships with all employees. -Safety is essential at Method Flow and all safety training classes must be completed with a 100% pass rate. -Experience with different brands of gas flow meters -Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is required. -Prefer 3-5 years of experience in the following:
