Tasks

-Respond effectively to building emergencies and perform assigned facility inspections to ensure satisfactory client occupancy -Complete painting projects on interior and exterior building surfaces, including surface preparation and priming -Conduct plumbing maintenance including toilets, urinals, lavatories, flush valves, sinks, drains, water heaters, and sump pumps -Perform repair, maintenance, restoration, and replacement of various building structural components and systems -Clean HVAC coils, change filters and belts, and maintain building documentation including fire safety systems -Handle general interior maintenance tasks such as hanging pictures, installing keyboard trays, and repairing office furniture systems -Maintain and repair locks, locking mechanisms, door closers, furniture, and access control systems

What You Bring

-Physical ability to regularly walk, bend, stoop, crouch, crawl, lift, push, and pull as required for maintenance tasks -Previous experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management -Capability to safely perform overhead work while standing on ladders up to 28 feet -Experience with HVAC systems maintenance and repair -Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude -Completion of applicable technical training program or vocational certification -Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in general building repair and maintenance, basic plumbing, and electrical work -Familiarity with building management systems and documentation processes -Knowledge of hazardous materials storage, usage, and disposal procedures -High school diploma or equivalent education
