Tasks

-Maintain appropriate controls to ensure accuracy, retain proper documentation -Manage and develop accounting team -Manage payroll process -Manage AP processes to recommend improvement opportunities and reduce costs -Manage business and financial compliance -Support HR compliance and reporting functions, including workers compensation and benefits -Coordinate and oversee external audit firm (Waldron) for annual financial statement audit -Manage the AR/Collections team to reduce DSO/WIP and improve processes -Manage expense reporting process, including oversight of corporate credit card program -Manage banking relationships, cash processing controls, and payment systems -Identify and implement process improvement opportunities and apply segregated controls -Collaborate with Director, Financial Planning & Analysis and VP of Finance to analyze results and forecasts -Ensure state & local corporate and professional registrations and certificates are in good standing -Review and update policies, processes, procedures, and controls on a continuous basis

What You Bring

-Experience with Netsuite is required -Practical experience with ASC 606 and 842 -Minimum 5+ years’ experience as Senior Accountant and/or Controller with at least two years in a leadership capacity, supporting & mentoring the accounting team -Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required -Experience working in professional services firm a plus -Experience with UKG is a plus -Cash flow analysis and management -CPA required -Public accounting experience a plus
