Tasks
-Communicate with management to address safety concerns as needed. -Inspect property and equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality. -Perform upkeep and janitorial duties so that your property is always in great condition, demonstrating pride in your building and grounds. -Assist in preparation of vacant units with maintenance team. -Provide excellent customer service to residents while performing job duties. -Learn new skills and work closely with the maintenance team on small repairs and preventative activities. -Maintain building supplies and inventory in proper condition. -Engage in minor maintenance work in coordination with building maintenance team. -Perform snow removal and/or landscaping as needed.

What You Bring
-You’re able to work our emergency on-call rotation as needed and can lift up to 50 lbs and stand for an 8-hour shift. -You have at least 1 year experience as a building porter, cleaner, or groundskeeper -You must join the local 808 union as a condition of the role -Demonstrates accountability and reliability by taking full ownership of projects and outcomes, prioritizing precision and attention to detail, and approaching challenges with grit, resilience, and proactive problem-solving, while continuously engaging in learning and development to enhance performance; fosters collaboration and a resident-centered environment, ensuring empathy, respect, and cross-functional success in all interactions.
