-Maintain and repair intrusion alarms, intercoms, and automatic door operators (asset) -Participate in on-call rotation -Test equipment, connections, and signals -Provide cost estimates for installation and maintenance -Install, service, and test electronic security systems -Install video systems and digital cameras -Troubleshoot software and networking issues

What You Bring

We’re seeking a technician with 2+ years of experience installing card access systems and CCTV systems in commercial properties. Experience with fire panels and burglar alarm systems in residential and commercial settings is an asset but not required. -Computer literate with networking skills and knowledge of operating systems -Proficient in cabling: install, fish, dress, cross-connect, and terminate UTP, coaxial, and fibre cables -Able to pass a criminal background check -Comfortable using tools and working at heights (ladders, lifts) -Configure and program DVR units -Ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service -Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract -Experience with Honeywell, Ademco, and DSC systems -Knowledge of safety standards and local/national codes -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Physically capable of lifting 50–70 lbs
