Tasks

-Perform tasks assigned in a safe and effective manner -Operating front end loader -Run clinkers for the screening and crushing department -Maintain the operation of cooler drives and keep area around the coolers clean -Perform all tasks in a safe manner which includes wearing proper personal protective equipment and follow safety regulations established by this company -Maintain the bowl mill and cooler area -Close off spec doors to coolers -Operate dump truck -May be involved in safety committees or initiatives -Maintain the operation of the coal mills which include maintaining proper oil levels, water circulation through coal mills, grease appropriate areas when needed and keeping coal area clean -Run clinker pile and spec material clay shed via front end loader -Follow all safety rules and practices -Operate equipment in quarry or production -Fill and maintain coal hopper -Haul stack dust once a shift -Help clay feed attendant to keep clay chopped in clay shed -Assist in turning and replacement of hammers in crusher -Grease and inspect crusher screens in finishing plant -Grease equipment in all areas of production -Keep water level pumped down at eight belt -Keep tail pulley and catwalk cleaned on stockpile belts -Remove logs from cooler -Operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) -Keep all above areas clean -Run sweeper to keep concrete clean, washing of scrubber slabs -Drive dump truck during cleanup of spillage in plant -Maintain the operation of the cooler reversible belts which includes keeping tail pulleys clean and keeping water on belts when needed -Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations -Remove clinkers from cooler pits and stack in designated areas -Perform all necessary work area inspections and document discrepancies. This includes any heavy equipment checklist/inspections -Maintain reversible belt

What You Bring

-Be able to operate front end loader -Ability to operate at least 2 pieces of mobile equipment (haul truck, farm tractor, water truck, rubber tire backhoe, front loader, etc.) -High school diploma or GED equivalent -Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance -The ability to stand, stoop, bend, lift, walk, climb stairs, ladders, and catwalks up to 60 feet as required and lift weights up to 60 pounds. -A minimum of 1 year of experience -The ability to work in a varied outdoor environment (cold, hot, dry, dusty, rainy) -Operate bobcat
