Development Manager

Overview

Lead planning and regeneration for residential master‑development projects in East Anglia.

Key Responsibilities

• site optimisation

Tasks

-Optimising sites through S73 and S96a’s -Undertaking due diligence, development appraisals and feasibility and viability studies. -Negotiating S106 agreements. -Assisting with CPO and land procurement work. -Managing major partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders. -Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the development process. -Managing pre-apps and planning applications through the development process, supporting by external planning consultants – submitting of outline, hybrid and detailed applications. -Liaising with colleagues internally as well as managing external consultants. -Discharging of conditions and dealing with RMAs.

What You Bring

You will need strong planning and or development experience, ideally both, but as a very team-oriented business they are more about the right “individual”, which will trump experience to an extent. You must be passionate about regeneration and keen to learn from those around you. -Have experience in a consultancy, developer, public body or housing association. -Excellent communication, written and numerate skills.
