IT Infrastructure Administrator

Description

• Work closely with Infrastructure & Operations partners to drive coordination and collaboration throughout the organization.
• Support technology projects and planning.
• Work closely with IT Project managers to support M&A activities related to Microsoft 365 workstreams.
• Provide end-user support and managing tickets and tasks.
• Administer, support and continuously improve Microsoft 365 technologies and determine how to maximize business value from products.
• Troubleshooting technical issues such as email delivery failures or authentication problems.
• Helping the Supervisor and IT Core Services Manager in the design of Microsoft 365 environment.
• Support resolution of high-priority outages, troubleshooting efforts, and capacity/availability planning sessions.
• Ensure that documentation and training is in place for operations teams.
• Managing user and shared mailboxes, permissions, distribution groups, OneDrive and team’s sites.
• Providing support for mobile devices that use Office 365
• Advocate for advanced analytics and automation to streamline efficiencies.

Requirements

• Experience supporting enterprise IT deployment projects.
• Influence. Ability to gain agreement and support for ideas and initiatives.
• Analytical and problem solving. Combines and organizes information into meaningful patterns; identifies underlying relationships, causes and effects; and combines pieces of information to form conclusions or general rules.
• Good understanding of AD, Entra ID, Windows Client OS and PowerShell.
• Change Management. The ability to effectively guide and sustain people, process, and technology change in a dynamic and complex operating environment.
• Ability to quickly learn, implement and utilize new technologies.
• Good understanding of Modern Workplace technologies including hardware, software, services, and SaaS tools. Examples include end user devices, Modern Endpoint Management tools, MECM and Intune.
• 5-9 years solid hands-on experience of implementing, managing, and supporting Microsoft 365 environment.
• Vision. The ability to see and explain how Microsoft 365 technology can improve employee experience, engagement, and productivity.
• Communications. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Pragmatic and detail oriented. Consistently takes a thorough, accurate, organized, and productive approach.
• Enablement mindset. The ability to focus on empowering and ensuring that employees have the motivation and knowledge to fully exploit IT-supplied technology.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
• Good understanding of adjacent technologies (identity, security, endpoint management, vulnerability management, asset management, IT service management, analytics, etc.).
• Dexterity. The ability to learn and utilize Microsoft 365 technologies to enable new ways of work.
