Tasks
-Effectively stewarding and building client relationships to repeat business; and -Developing business opportunities with new and existing clients and preparing associated proposals. -Field work and overnight travel may be required . -Managing, permitting, planning, compliance and environmental oversight of projects involving due diligence, including multi-media compliance reviews and ASTM-compliant Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; -Managing multiple projects within the scope/budget/schedule expectations and ensuring quality standards on project deliverables; -Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. -Managing the overall delivery of projects including, project planning and controls, financial management, change management, risk management, and contract/subcontract management;

What You Bring
-Knowledge and experience with environmental regulations in the Western U.S., including California. (strongly preferred) -Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) -Minimum 8 years (10+ years preferred) of experience in an environmental consulting environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) -Licensure as a Professional Engineer (P.E.), Professional Geologist (P.G.), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), or similar. (preferred) -Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required . -Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) -Advanced degree in the same. (preferred) -Bachelor’s degree in environmental or earth sciences; or environmental, civil, or chemical engineering; or a related field. (required) -Candidates must currently hold and maintain valid U.S. work authorization. New H-1B visa lottery and employment based green card sponsorship are not available for this position. -An outstanding track record for client management and technical leadership. (preferred) -Significant experience with Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments. (strongly preferred) -Knowledge and experience with health and safety regulations in the Western U.S., including California. (preferred) -Experience working on demanding, sophisticated, confidential and legally sensitive projects with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handle multiple project assignments, meet strict deadlines. (strongly preferred)
Benefits
-Minimum Salary: $115,040/year / Maximum Salary: $196,275/year (Davis / Sacramento) -Minimum Salary: $120,265/year / Maximum Salary: $205,190/year (Oakland / Walnut Creek)
