Tasks

-Participate in assurance reviews and control maturity assessments. -Contribute to financial modelling for technology investments, including return on investment and cost-benefit analysis. -Support the design, documentation, and testing of IT controls across systems and processes. -Assist in the development of dashboards and reports for control and assurance metrics. -Analyse trends in technology spending and identify opportunities for cost optimisation. -IT Governance & Risk Management – Support control design, risk assessments, and compliance monitoring (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001). -Contribute to IT risk assessments and maintain the IT risk register. -Assist in the development of business cases for new technology initiatives. -Automation & Insight Generation – Apply tools and techniques to streamline control testing and financial reporting. -Development of dashboards for control and assurance metrics -Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for senior stakeholders. -Support the preparation and monitoring of IT budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis. -Collaborate with IT project managers to track project expenditure and capitalisation. -Monitor compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, such as GDPR and ISO 27001. -Financial modelling for digital transformation initiatives -Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and compliance with financial policies. -Financial Planning & Analysis – Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and ROI modelling for technology investments. -Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Operations teams to promote awareness of control frameworks. -Assist with internal and external audit activities, including evidence collection and remediation tracking.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with control frameworks (e.g., COBIT, NIST), financial systems (e.g., SAP), and data tools (e.g., Power BI) -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -Automation of evidence collection and reporting processes -A degree (or predicted degree) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Economics , or a related discipline
