The Role

Overview

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and automation equipment.

Tasks

-Perform troubleshooting and repairs using wiring diagrams, schematics, and test equipment. -Perform soldering and wiring tasks as needed for installations or repairs. -Program and troubleshoot VFDs using HIM modules or related tools/software. -Support material procurement and documentation through CMMS systems. -Install and maintain motors and power distribution systems including transformers, motor starters, and switchgear. -Install, maintain, and repair complex automatic controls, generating equipment, transformers, motor control centers, and related electrical components, including PLCs and VFDs. -Conduct intermediate-level PLC troubleshooting for both discrete and analog devices using RSLogix5 and RSLogix500. -Safely operate lifts, bucket trucks, and standard electrical hand and power tools. -Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble electrical units to ensure proper operation. -Plan, layout, and perform a full range of installation, maintenance, and repair operations on electrical systems and equipment throughout the facility.

What You Bring

Shift: Must be open to 2nd & 3rd -Proficiency with electrical test equipment, tools, and safety procedures. -Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation equipment. -Hands-on experience with PLC and VFD programming and troubleshooting. -Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and electrical schematics. -Based in or willing to relocate to Sarasota, FL area -Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation field or equivalent combination of formal training and related experience. -Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
