The Role
Overview
Lead a team managing security, resilience and compliance of OT systems for interconnectors.

Tasks
-Manage the team and suppliers to ensure that safe systems of work are compiled to as a paramount priority. -Your team will be responsible for managing any associated incidents or disaster recovery scenarios and ensuring the teams are suitably tested and prepared. -You and your team will ensure that the systems, networks and cyber assets meet required functional and non-functional requirements. -Participation in a site call out rota on a periodic basis and support live incidents if they occur. -You and your team will ensure that the systems, networks and cyber assets are managed and replaced as required through their lifecycles. This includes the management of suppliers and spares and the initiation of projects and tenders as required to meet the resilience, regulatory and business needs. -You will ensure that a culture of good cyber security is fostered and adhered to. -Interpret and consult on central policy from the Cyber, Engineering, Assurance and Policy team and implement to your assigned interconnector and control rooms Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, promoting best practices in systems and cyber asset management. -You will be responsible for ensuring that the systems, networks, cyber assets and hardware services (e.g. power, air conditioning) are managed appropriately and in-line with regulatory / legislative requirements, business policy, standards and frameworks. The priority is to ensure systems remain operable and do not create any operational impacts. This includes OT / cyber physical assets as well as physical security controls such as site access, CCTV, port blocking, alarms etc. -Ensure compliance to key regulatory requirements, including compliance reporting in collaboration with other SMEs. -On occasion, support the delivery of works and services across the Interconnectors Portfolio of IFA, IFA2, NSL and Viking Link sites. -Lead and manage a team of system and cyber asset management and OT engineering professionals. -You will ensure that outage as well as more frequent activities are coordinated and successfully undertaken. -Creation of reports to support Head of Operations and Maintenance for internal and external forums. For example, Asset Excellence forum, Cyber Forums or to external/regulatory stakeholders. -You will manage suppliers to ensure they perform to quality, compliance standards and will oversee the budget associated to their management. -You will manage assurance and audit activities when undertaken.

What You Bring
-Cyber security experience -Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. -Awareness or qualifications of other ISO/IEC standards (notably ISA/IEC 62443) are desirable -Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels. -Networking qualifications such as CompTIA, Cisco or other ISO/IEC standards are desirable. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, creating tangible content and analysis -Utility sector specific experience is desirable but not required -Full UK Driving licence -Proficient in asset management software and tools. -Understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (such as the Networks and Information Systems Regulation [NIS]) is beneficial but not essential -Educated to degree level (or equivalent combination of education and experience). -Relevant technical experience i.e. managing and configuring OT systems (ideally both software and hardware) -Ideally you will have experience or a background in operational technology with an understanding of the energy industry and be familiar with SCADA and Control and Protection Systems. -Confident to oversee and carry out maintenance work on physical hardware. -Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams. -Health and Safety Qualification: IOSH or NEBOSH (or equivalent) -Proven track record of successfully delivering business requirements to time and budget constraints.
