Tasks

-Weld components using Swagelok and/or AMI systems -Cut and prepare all tubing and fittings using portable band saw, tubing cutters, facing tools and other hand tools. -Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits. -Read and interpret blueprints and drawings -Set up components for orbital welding according to project specifications -Perform visual examination of welds -Follow established procedures to setup and operate orbital welding equipment. -Determine appropriate welding program and method based on requirements

What You Bring

-Skills to use measuring equipment (tape measure, framing square, straight edge, calipers, laser level). -Understand and perform purging and pressurization of systems -Ability to document welds on weld logs, ISO’s and weld maps using GMP. -Experience with installation of stainless steel hygienic/sanitary process tubing. (food and pharmaceutical) -Knowledge of detailing and design is a plus. -Understand and use Isometric drawings and P&iD’s to install tubing and equipment. -Familiarity with working with Swagelok and AMI Orbital Welding Systems. -4+ years of Process Pipe fitting and welding in the pharmaceutical or microelectronics industries.
