The successful candidate will be a Professional Engineer with a diverse background and evidence of strong advancement in management responsibilities. The candidate will have demonstrated expertise and success in managing and motivating multiple discipline teams, developing, and executing client and business development strategies that drive revenue and profit margin growth, and partnering with internal and external partners. The selected candidate must understand and have in-depth public and private sector market knowledge and experience, and client relationships in the Southeast Region. -Able to work closely and productively with Dewberry enterprise leadership to drive positive results. -Strong communicator, motivator, and influencer for managing an entrepreneurial initiative that will bridge current capabilities with a forward-looking vision of Dewberry’s future in the Southeast Region. -Analytical thinker, bringing market-facing ideas and strategies, new services, and expertise to decision-making and strategic planning. -Thorough understanding of the Southeast market; strong relationships with decision-makers in public agencies and/or relationships with private entities. -Ability to mobilize, organize and energize cross-functional teams for success in winning and delivering complex projects. -Strong leadership skills, goal driven, adept at attracting and developing talent. -Bachelor of Engineering Degree; advanced engineering degree a plus. -Sophisticated understanding of the engineering market in Southeast Region -Minimum 18 years of directly applicable experience as a MEPS consulting engineer.Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in managing diverse MEPS engineering teams and a lead operational role with P&L responsibilities.Thorough understanding of the Southeast market; strong relationships with decision-makers in public agencies and/or relationships with private entities.Bachelor of Engineering Degree; advanced engineering degree a plus.PE.Excellent people skills -Demonstrated ability to build strong trusting relationships (internal to an organization and external with clients and teaming partners). -Active involvement in leadership of industry organizations. Interest and ability to present at conferences and lead teams to participate in brand-elevating activities. -Minimum 18 years of directly applicable experience as a MEPS consulting engineer. -Excellent people skills -Comfortable and successful in client and business development, pre-positioning for long term opportunities. -Minimum of 10 years of supervisory experience in managing diverse MEPS engineering teams and a lead operational role with P&L responsibilities.
