Tasks

As a Solutions Engineer, you will drive the development and optimization of sealing solutions through hands-on testing and advanced simulation. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate designs, select materials, and ensure product performance across industries such as space, aviation, Conduct physical testing (e.g., load, leakage, and material behavior) to validate product performance. -Analyze and interpret test and simulation data to provide actionable insights. -Manage multiple projects with attention to timelines, documentation, and business objectives. -Investigate material and component behavior using both experimental and computational methods. -Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to improve product reliability and manufacturability. -Perform analytical calculation (e.g. FEA) to support design decisions, failure analysis, and process optimization. -Participate in customer meetings and technical exhibitions to support product promotion and application development. -Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment in accordance with Saint-Gobain’s safety policies. -Present findings through clear documentation and technical communication.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with hands-on experience in both physical testing and simulation. However, we also welcome early-career engineers or recent graduates who are passionate about solving engineering problems and eager to learn. If you’re curious, adaptable, and excited to work in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment, we encourage you to apply. -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. -Demonstrate understanding of company policies and corporate structure. -Experience with numerical simulations, particularly with FEM. -Develop ability to maintain composure and organize teams in high pressure situation. -Experience using SolidWorks/CAD -BS with 0 to 3+ years of experience or MS plus demonstrated technical judgment/accomplishments in Material Science/Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace/ Aeronautics Engineering or other related disciplines. -Hands-on experience with test design and physical testing. -Demonstrated ability to give and receive constructive feedback. -Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

We believe in the importance of pay transparency in what we offer prospective candidates and provide the national pay range for this position which is $70,000.00 to $108,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual bonus. The targeted bonus amount is 9% of base salary based on company and individual performance measures. The Total Target Cash range (base pay and annual bonus) for this position, is $76,300.00 to $117,700.00. Bonus payments are part of variable compensation and by nature can vary based on company and individual performance and is not a guarantee.
