Tasks

-Supervise the design and ongoing progress of a project, including the coordination of the project with state and local officials and other outside agencies and sub-consultants -Computation of estimated quantities, plan notes, and development of cost estimates -Load rating analysis of bridges -Design bridges, culverts and retaining walls -Site visits to support the design process -Participate in business development efforts and meet with clients -Utilize structural design software -Prepare structural evaluation studies, structure-type studies, and similar reports -Plan production including 3D Modeling and CADD

What You Bring

-Strong written and verbal communication skills -Professional Engineer (PE) License, required -Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering -Experience with computer software such as OpenRoads, AutoCAD, OpenBridge Designer, AASHTOWare BrR -This position could require periodic travel, approximately 15% or more -Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record -Familiarity with Ohio DOT bridge design standards -Experience as Bridge Inspection Team Leader is a plus -10+ years of engineering experience, which must include bridge design and plan production
