Tasks

-Evaluate contaminated sites and develop remediation approaches, including feasibility studies, removal action work plans, remediation design plans; -Managing challenging technical projects while leveraging your existing knowledge and experience to help Geosyntec expand its current practices and capabilities through business development and client management; -Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed. -Build a portfolio of clients by winning new clients and obtaining repeat business from existing clients, leading proposal preparation, and executing a personal business development plan; -Task and project management, including planning and implementing investigation and remediation projects, budgeting and budget management, adherence to schedule, quality, client satisfaction, and profitability; -Field work and overnight travel may be required. -Mentor, guide, and motivate early career staff assigned in the areas of project performance, cost, schedule management, client expectations and career development; work with employees to correct deficiencies; -Lead the development of work plans, data evaluation, and cost-benefit analyses; -At times, this position may also include fieldwork including site visits, multi-media environmental sampling and characterization, drilling oversight, contractor oversight, and remediation system operations, maintenance, and construction; and -Write technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals; oversee and review documents prepared by project teams; -Foster trust-based relationships with clients, regulatory personnel, and other project stakeholders; -Implement remedial pilot tests and systems, including vendor selection, logistical coordination, permitting, and supervision of field teams;

What You Bring

-Demonstrated success in the development and management of clients, and leadership skills. (required) -Detailed understanding of CERCLA and other applicable state regulations. (required) -Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed. (required) -Professional registration (i.e., P.E. P.G.) (preferred) -At least 8 years (10+ years preferred) of direct environmental consulting experience in the Pacific Northwest marketplace ; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required) -Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers. (preferred) -Valid U.S. driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required) -Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing may be required. -Advanced degree the same. (preferred) -Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, or environmental preferred) or geology. (required) -Excellent writing and communication skills. (required) -Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams. (required)

Benefits

-Minimum: $115,040/year / Maximum: $196,275/year (Seattle, WA)
