Tasks

-Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer/Sales and Engineering. -Operate with some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework to drive customer deliverables. Seek supervision where needed -Manage technical analysis of customer needs: Definition and optimization of the products, scope, performance, and cost while considering contract and internal tools and processes. Calculation of plant, system and equipment performance and efficiency. Proposing technical specifications & costing elements -Provide engineering support and develop technical solutions (configuration, performance estimation, value story, etc.) as part of the R1 Solutioning process. Possess a basic understanding of relevant markets and customer economic value models that aid winning bid strategies. -Work on LEAN concepts, run data analysis on operational throughputs of the team. Investigate via PSR and other Continuous Improvement ideas

GE Vernova will require proof of status prior to employment -Ability to work in a regional structure. -Advanced Engineering degree. Comprehensive knowledge of GE Vernova Gas Power products and technology (Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, CC, CHP, processes, and organizational structure. -Good interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. -1-2 years of customer-facing experience -Enthusiastically practices lean. Helps build and ensure adherence to standard work; utilizes continuous improvement principles and tools in daily work to drive better outcome -Must be willing and able to travel -Ability to document, plan, , and execute tasks. Established project management skills. -Knowledgeable in power generation industry trends and competition. -Basic understanding of key business drivers. Collaborate with Sales, Commercial and Engineering teams to contribute to business financial objectives -Good oral and written communication skills. -2-4 years of experience in Power Industry in Engineering function -Good external focus, with ability to assess impact of price and performance decisions on Customers, market, & investors.
