Ensure strong commercial governance, record-keeping, and risk management across projects
Ensure proper subcontract orders are placed in line with authorisation levels
Liaise with project teams to provide commercial insight and updates
Support contract preparation and execution, including insurance, bonds and warranties
Support final account agreements and cost reporting procedures
Ensure enquiry documentation is comprehensive and aligned with contractual requirements
Obtain and assess multiple quotations from the supply chain for all domestic work packages
Work closely with estimating and pre-construction teams on cost planning and tender returns
Assess and authorise subcontractor payments and invoices
Carry out commercial assessment of subcontractor quotations with the site team
Prepare and submit interim valuations and variations in accordance with client contracts
Manage debt collection in collaboration with the accounts team

Proficient with Microsoft Excel and commercial management systems (COINS or similar preferred)
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills
Proven experience delivering commercial construction projects above £10m
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience
Strong understanding of construction methods, procurement, and contractual compliance
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and maintain strong attention to detail
