The Role

Overview

Develops and manages bid proposals, RFQs, and related documentation.

Tasks

-Partners with Marketing to develop and implement tools and procedures to ensure future project documentation is published and maintained according to Southland standards. -Compiles and coordinates with Marketing team to maintain project data to be used for press releases, project profiles, and case studies for print and website use. Coordinates media opportunities and trade show scheduling with Marketing. -Manages bid proposal preparation including, but not limited to, scope, resumes, project lists, organization charts, and any collateral/support documentation. -Establishes and maintains file structures for project specific Request for Qualification (RFQ) and Bid Proposals. -Manages client generated RFQ and documents, Southland developed response, and final submission documentation within file structure. -Partners with internal clients and team members to develop Power Point presentation design and content. -Develops prequalification and bid proposal package preparation and submissions as requested. -Assists with developing deliverable list, timeline for document preparation, submission requirements and responsibilities and final package submission.

What You Bring

-Bachelor's Degree in English, Marketing or Communications required or equivalent work experience. -Ability to write, edit and proofread content. -Strong customer service skills. -Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills. -Unanet or Asana experience is a plus. -Experience in Service or Construction industry preferred. -Competent in MS Office, MS Visio -Adobe Creative Suite experience strongly preferred. -Good project management skills with ability to meet assigned deadlines. -Strong verbal and written communication skills. -Minimum 2 years' experience in writing, editing and researching to prepare, print and submit online technical documentation, including preparation of proposals. -Project Management experience preferred. -Strong research and analytical skills.
