BIM Technician - Wet Utilities

Create and manage BIM models for wet utilities (water, wastewater, stormwater) in Doha.

Tasks

-Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of BIM models into the overall design process. -Utilize Dynamo for computational design, automation, and optimization of BIM workflows, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. -Utilize Part Builder and advanced catalog editing tools to customize and optimize BIM components as needed. -Develop and manage wet utilities BIM models for gravity and pressure systems, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications. -Maintain and update BIM models throughout the project lifecycle, incorporating design changes and revisions as necessary. -Produce drawing deliverables at various Levels of Development (LOD 100 to LOD 500) based on project requirements and industry standards. -Provide technical support and guidance to team members regarding BIM processes, tools, and Dynamo scripting. -Conduct quality control checks on BIM models and drawings to ensure compliance with project standards and client expectations. -Stay updated on industry trends, software advancements, and best practices in BIM for wet utilities

What You Bring

-Excellent 3D modeling and drafting skills -Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or related field -BIM certification (e.g., Autodesk Certified Professional) preferred -Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written -Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment -Understanding of wet utilities design principles and construction methods -Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit and Civil 3D -5 years of experience in BIM for wet utilities or related field -Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail -Strong knowledge of wet utilities systems, including water, wastewater, and stormwater -Familiarity with industry standards and codes related to wet utilities -Willingness to adapt to the local work environment in Doha, Qatar
