Overview

Install, service, and inspect residential gas meters and related equipment.

Tasks

-Assists other field men in related duties. -*Turn off, remove, reset, change, turn on gas meters and combinations thereof, in accordance with established procedures. This includes the re-lighting of gas appliances and the resetting and/or adjustment of service regulators if necessary. -*Inspect gas facilities on customers' premises for safety and adherence to safety codes.

-Technical Skills -Be agile -Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions. -Must be able to read, write and speak English effectively. -Must have a MVD license and a good driving record. -Must have a good degree of mechanical aptitude. -Must be physically able to perform the duties required.
