Overview

Manage credit control, cash receipts, reconciliations and customer queries for billing team.

Tasks

-Creating, monitoring and issuing Direct Debits including payment plans, confirmation letters and failure letters -Work effectively as part of a team and help build relationships within it to achieve team goals -Processing of remittance advices on a daily basis -Preparing monthly reports for internal and external stakeholders -Reminder procedures for overdue bills -Reconciliation of daily banking transactions and company receipts -Ensuring that contract specific procedures are followed which include: -Processing refund requests in line with company policy -Dealing with client and customer queries via various communication channels which include the company online ticketing system, telephone and email -Processing of Direct Debit payment files for bank submission -Updating the company credit management system accurately -Posting of daily cash receipts -Daily allocation reporting per client contract

What You Bring

-Knowledge and understanding of GDPR regulations in relation to processing of sensitive personal information -Must satisfactorily pass CRB check (financial credit check -Experience within a billing and revenue collection role (Desirable) -GCSE (Grades A-C/5 above) in Maths and English -Previous experience working within a credit control/financial administration role -Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word -Strong customer focus with excellent customer service skills including confidentiality, tact and diplomacy -The ability to communicate clearly and concisely at all levels using various methods of communication
