Tasks

-Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site. -Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions. -Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination. -Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA recordkeeping (including injury/illness logs). -Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and contract requirements. -Collaborate closely with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards. -Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel. -Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.

What You Bring

-Current First Aid/CPR certification. -Experience supporting federal construction projects, especially USACE or DoD. -Strong written and verbal communication skills. -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms. -5+ years of continuous experience in construction safety management with the USACE. -Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis methods. -U.S. Citizenship required (federal project compliance). -Must be able to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision. -Prior experience coordinating with subcontractors and site leadership on large-scale builds. -OSHA EM 385-1-1 is mandatory.
