The Role
Overview
Accurately calculate and process weekly payroll for piece-rate plumbing staff.

Tasks
-The position occasionally may require lifting heavy objects (up to 15 pounds). -Responsible for the accuracy and timeliness of weekly payroll for piece rate employees. -Handle payroll inquiries and discrepancies. -Address employee's pay-related concerns and provide accurate payroll information. -Constantly operate a computer and other office machinery -Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures, reporting needed changes. -Prepare reports for upper management as needed.

What You Bring
-Must be able to review electronic timecards, compute piece-rate calculations, compute wages, reconcile wages, overtime, and other types of pay with extreme accuracy and compliance. -Effective use of time to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks. -Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail. -Performing this job requires frequent use of hands to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. -Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong customer service skills. -The ability to manage competing demands and priorities is a critical component of the position, along with the ability to work independently and function effectively as part of a dynamic collaborative team. -Fluent in Spanish, preferred but not required. -Understanding of construction blueprints and work tickets. -Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time -Strong computer skills (MS Office Suite). -Knowledge of Samsara is a plus. -Ability to handle confidential information in strict confidence and with great sensitivity. -Construction experience preferred but not required. -High school graduation or other equivalent (i.e., GED, college, technical or trade school transcript, foreign equivalency, etc.). -Bolt software experience a plus. -Must be able to sit, talk, hear, and stand frequently throughout the day. Must be able to climb, reach above shoulder height, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl frequently. -Plumbing knowledge preferred but not required. -Must be able to ascend/descend stairs to access workspace
