Tasks

-Assist in value engineering and risk analysis to enhance proposal competitiveness. -Analyze project documents, including drawings and specifications, to determine scope, labor, material, and equipment requirements. -Prepare detailed mechanical construction cost estimates for nuclear construction and modification projects. -Develop pricing strategies and proposals that align with company goals and client requirements. -Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to gather and validate cost inputs. -Maintain and update cost databases to ensure accuracy and relevance. -Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure all estimating processes are transparent and meet deadlines. -Utilize advanced Excel skills to create, format, and analyze estimate spreadsheets.

What You Bring

-Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all estimates. -Proven experience in estimating and proposal development, particularly in nuclear or industrial projects. -Minimum of 15 years of construction experience, with a strong focus on mechanical systems. -Excellent verbal and written communication skills. -Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to use advanced functions for data analysis and reporting. -Must have ability to read drawings.
