Overview

Perform pipe stress analysis for nuclear reactor projects using ASME B31.3

Tasks

-Work closely with layout personnel and pipe support engineers to deliver a quality and cost-effective design. -Stress review of isometrics based on span tables -Checking of work done by others -Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and vendors as required. -Includes the modeling of the piping systems using Bentley AutoPipe to verify piping flexibility, stability and qualification of equipment nozzle loads.

What You Bring

-AA/AS or Certificate in Engineering/CAD with 7-8 years of experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience -Prior experience using a computer pipe stress analysis program (AutoPipe preferred) -Must be able to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check which includes verification of employment and education. -Knowledgeable of ASME B31.3 and/or B31.1 other relevant industry piping codes and standards
