Overview

Lead software team to develop mission‑critical space systems using Java microservices

Tasks

-DevSecOps concepts and using CI/CD pipeline technologies such as Jenkins, GitLab, Docker -Utilize Agile/Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies for efficient software development -Provide key contributions to system design and integrations with other teams in the solution space -Advise on microservices-based architectures using containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) -Lead and mentor other software engineers through architecture designs, resilient software solutions, and verified deliverables -Collaborate with developers, system architects, product owners, and other stakeholders -Enhance existing architecture to improve system responsiveness, security, and scalability -Contribute to project documentation

What You Bring

-Experience using Docker and/or Kubernetes containers for development and deployment -Familiarity with any of the following technologies: -Experience designing, developing, documenting, testing, and debugging enterprise applications or platform infrastructure software -Demonstrated ability to lead others with an understanding of how to motivate others, set clear goals, plan and assign tasks, mentor when needed, hold others accountable, resolve conflict, and build team cohesion -Experience working in an Agile Software Development environment using the Scrum methodology -Must be willing to accomplish a CI-Polygraph. -Must be a US Citizen due to DoD contract -Experience developing RESTful web services -Java application development experience, specifically microservice architecture -Experience with common CM tools and best practices -Experience in object-oriented analysis and design techniques -Active TS security clearance, with SCI eligibility is required -Security+ Certification -Strong interpersonal and communications skills, while establishing and maintaining effective work relationships with team members -AWS/GovCloud technologies -Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and common UI frameworks (Vue3, Angular, React) -Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment, and take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly. -Machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies -Ability to participate in cross-functional planning, coordination, and task execution -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an engineering field with 10+ years of technical experience. Relevant experience may be accepted in place of a degree -Spring Boot -AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification
