Project Accountant

Overview

Manage project billing, vendor documentation, and cost reporting for construction projects.

Tasks

-Submits supporting documents on all UBE requirements per our Contract (yet to be finalized). -Manages T&M Billings and detailed supporting documentation to General Contractor. Assist project management team with monthly final report summaries. -Manages all vendor/subcontractor progress and final lien releases. -Works with all project vendors/subcontractors, internal and external production facilities to receive all supporting documentation for their invoices/billing. -Facilitates paperwork between project vendors/subcontractors to the General Contractor. -Logs and categorizes invoices based on SOV for easy review.

What You Bring

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting and communicating with management, peers, and others. -Ability to use computer-based technology, such as an ERP System, Document Management System, Excel, and Lotus Notes. -Prior construction contract billing experience or solid understanding of construction contract billings. -Proven attention to detail, strong analytical, communication and problem-solving skills. -Able to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with a high degree of accuracy. Flexible and able to handle multiple tasks. -Successful completion of a two-year accounting program or equivalent experience.
