Tasks

-Safely operate hand tools and light equipment (shovels, compactors, jackhammers, chipping guns, etc.). -Travel throughout New England with the crew (company-paid hotels + per diem). -Maintain a safe work environment for yourself, crew members, and customers. -Assist with loading/unloading materials and placing underground telecom cabling. -Perform general construction and labor duties, including trenching, digging, and backfilling. -Support site preparation, cleanup, and equipment handling as needed.

What You Bring

-Basic knowledge of equipment maintenance, inspections, and material handling. -Ability to perform physical construction work and repetitive tasks. -Repeated and frequent ability to lift, from floor to above head 40 lbs continuously -Valid driver’s license (must pass routine screenings). -Must be 21+ years old. -Class A CDL license. -Follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently in a team setting. -Company-provided OSHA-10 certification within 90 days. -Hoisting License (IC/2B). -Strong work ethic — reliable, punctual, and safety-minded. -Willingness and ability to travel regularly. -Ability to sit, stand, climb, kneel, bend, lift, crawl, squat, reach and utilize both hands and feet in an aerial and underground capacity. Environmental Conditions exposure is heat, cold, dust, wet, vibration and very loud noise. -Ability to follow directions, work independently when needed, and contribute as a team player. -Prior underground utility or telecom construction experience.
