Create and maintain CAD drawings for rail infrastructure projects in Toronto

Tasks
The CAD Technician will support engineering and construction teams by developing and maintaining detailed technical drawings, 2D and 3D models, and design layouts for civil, structural, and tunnel works. The successful candidate will ensure that all deliverables comply with project standards, technical specifications, and quality requirements. -Coordinate with engineers, surveyors, and designers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. -Support clash detection and design integration using CAD and BIM platforms. -Prepare and revise CAD drawings and layouts for civil and structural works (tunnels, stations, track alignment, utilities, etc.). -Maintain drawing registers and ensure adherence to document control procedures. -Update design drawings and produce as-built documentation during construction.

What You Bring
-Language: English (minimum level B2–C1). -Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional experience, preferably in large-scale infrastructure or transit projects. -Education: Degree or diploma in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related field. -Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and related design software. Experience with Canadian design standards and construction practices is an asset. -Work Tools: Computer and mobile phone provided .
