The Role
Overview
Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC systems at UGA onsite.

Tasks
-Perform maintenance of commercial HVAC equipment including logging machines, cleaning coils, brushing tubes, replacing filters, replacing belts and proper lubrication -Record and report billing, inventory, timecards, technician tip reports, and other articles as required and in a timely manner -This position will primarily be responsible for supporting UGA onsite. -Interact with customers by offering status reports of service before, during, and after each call Explain technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences -Perform warranty service application by inspecting and testing systems to verify functionality of HVAC equipment and components -Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area are always upheld -Maintain and inspect equipment to identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks -Follow all OSHA and Daikin Applied safety policies and procedures -Repair and replacement of defective equipment, components, or wiring related to fan coils, water source heat pumps, applied air handling units, rooftop units, cooling towers, and condenser tubes -Participate in available training through regional technician trainers, off-site learning modules, and Daikin Learning. Maintain all required certifications and continue to develop new skill sets -Direct Level I technicians through hands-on demonstrations of all necessary steps to troubleshoot and repair equipment

What You Bring
-Introduction to centrifugal rebuilds from Lead and Level III technicians -Factory Certified Training, Online Training Courses, or other professional on the job training in the HVAC Industry -Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position -The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth -OSHA 10 within 90 days of hire (Daikin provides this training during onboarding process) -Commercial HVAC Industry Experience -High School Diploma or GED -Current first aid / CPR card -Required license(s) and/or training card as required by local law district -Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record -EPA approved Universal Technician Certification -3+ years related experience with increasing responsibility or equivalent combination of education and experience -Technical school with HVAC certificate or equivalent combination of education and experience
