Tasks

-Create 3D parts and assemblies of products for NPD. -Utilize AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor to create detailed designs and drawings. -Prepare fabrication drawings, coordinate with manufacturing team and design team to finalize drawings for manufacturing feasibility. -Prepare detailed drawings that are sent out for production. -Evaluate the feasibility of designs for manufacturing. -Estimate costs for customer projects/products based on design specifications. -Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new products. -Prepare extrusion drawings and proactively work with vendors, majorly extrusion vendors to verify, modify, approve and sign-off counter drawings. -Perform tolerance stack-up analysis. -Create GA drawings and part drawings of ground mount structures.

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Detailer with expertise in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting design input, evaluating manufacturing feasibility, estimating project costs, and developing detailed CAD plans for production. This role involves working closely under the supervision of senior engineers to ensure accurate and efficient design processes. Required Experience: 3+ Years Required Education: Diploma/B. Tech in Mechanical Engi -Read and understand design inputs for projects/products. -Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills. -Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. -Proven experience as a Design Detailer or similar role. -Possess basic knowledge about raw materials and their applications in design and manufacturing. -Experience with cost estimation for manufacturing projects/products. -Effective communication and collaboration skills. -Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. -Possess adequate knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and tolerance standards (ISO, ASTM, BIS). -Excellent ability to read and interpret design inputs and customer drawings. -Strong understanding of GD&T, drawing symbols, and tolerance standards.
