Provide IT support to office and field users, handling devices, troubleshooting, and projects.

Tasks

-Provide end user support via phone and in person, assisting users in resolution of questions and issues related to computers, mobile devices, and printers as well as core field applications including mobile applications and computer applications for Construction and Materials operations. -Configure mobile devices and computers for deployment to new users and perform device swaps for existing users. -Assist on new technology roll out projects, data analytics projects, or large-scale device deployment projects as assigned. -Perform basic system diagnostics and troubleshooting on computers, tablets, phones, and printers to assist users with performance or connectivity issues. -Effectively assess user reported issues for urgency and business or user impact. -Shadow other IT staff during site visits and interact directly with Shared Services, Construction, and Materials personnel to gain an understanding of how technology is used in those areas of the business.

What You Bring

-Proficiency with maintaining Apple iOS and Microsoft Windows devices. -Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. -Currently pursuing an associate's or bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business Administration or Civil Engineering with a technology interest, or related fields. -Proficiency with standard office applications such as email, word processing, and spreadsheets. -The IT Generalist will work from a regional IT office and will travel to other Allan Myers offices, materials plants, and job site offices as assigned. Typical work environment is moderate noise level. -Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and work well within a team. -Requires daily travel/commute to the office and work sites. Travel throughout the company footprint as needed. Overnight stays may be required.
