Tasks
-Completing peer reviews to ensure quality deliverables. -Leading the coordination and preparation of proposals, providing key input on project resourcing and skill requirements. -Leading cost estimation efforts, and take responsibility for managing scope changes in projects. -Maintaining client relationships, providing input on evolving client needs and contributing to the retention efforts. -Conduct regular check-ins with team members to monitor performance, provide feedback, and support their professional development. -Overseeing project documentation standards within the team, ensuring consistency and accuracy while respecting regional differences. -Leading and implementing strategic business development plans, contributing insights and helping to monitor the client pipeline. -Actively mentoring staff by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. -Assisting in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff, ensuring they are integrated smoothly into the team. -Ensuring that project resourcing is aligned with strategic goals, facilitating effective cross-office collaboration and resource allocation. -Leading projects, ensuring quality delivery within budget and timeline constraints, and provide support on larger projects as needed. -Providing day-to-day leadership and support to staff, ensuring they are motivated and aligned with organizational goals. -Fostering a positive work environment that emphasizes work-life balance, team cohesion, and ongoing improvement.

What You Bring
-Familiarity or interest in Integrated Project Delivery -P.Eng. - applicant must be registered with EGBC or eligible to transfer membership to EGBC. -Strong oral and written communication skills. -Experience in Project Management with desirable experience (i.e. chairing meetings, project oversight, managing budget oversight, etc.). -Degree in Civil Engineering. -Strong skills in water, wastewater and stormwater. -Experience with AutoCAD and Civil3D (for the purposes of reviewing, checking designs). -Municipal Transportation Experience. -Group RRSP. -Experience with standards/guidelines related to water resources. -Progressively responsible experience in water and wastewater design, tendering, and construction. -Experience working on Vancouver Island. -Water – ISL -PMP Designation.
