Tasks

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Staff Geotechnical Engineer/Senior Geotechnical Engineer located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Some work from home is acceptable. The role involves conducting geotechnical investigations, preparing engineering reports, performing soil analysis, designing foundations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on construction projects. Additional responsibilities include managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and participating in client meetings and site visits.

What You Bring

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills -Experience in seismic engineering and working with municipal, state, or federal agencies is desirable -Experience in foundation design and engineering report preparation -Ability to work both independently and in a hybrid work environment -Professional Engineer (PE) license and relevant industry certifications are a plus -Geotechnical investigations and soil analysis skills -Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams -Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field -Proficiency in managing project timelines and ensuring regulatory compliance
