Senior Planner - Fit Out

Overview

Lead planning for fit‑out and civil works at Sizewell C, managing programmes and resources.

Tasks

-Develop, maintain, and update detailed short-term and overall project programmes in line with project requirements. -Record and report on labour and resource efficiency to support performance analysis. -Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including design, engineering, commercial, supply chain, and construction teams, on time-related matters. -Provide accurate internal and external progress reporting to project leadership and stakeholders. -Collaborate to develop logical construction sequences and methodologies, ensuring the most beneficial delivery strategy is adopted. -Liaise with site teams and supply chain partners to track progress, resolve issues, and ensure programme milestones are maintained. -Analyse performance data and advise the project team on potential impacts, risks, and improvement opportunities. -Define and manage resource requirements to support programme delivery. -Highlight emerging issues and trends for proactive resolution.

What You Bring

-Demonstrable experience in developing and managing construction programmes within a civil engineering environment, including design and procurement processes. -Degree or recognised qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. -Experience in planning reinforced concrete and structural steelwork -Membership of a recognised professional body such as CIOB or MICE. -Experience in 4D / Synchro modelling for programme visualisation and integration -Experience in the planning and coordination of industrial building fit-out works. -Proficient in Primavera P6 planning software.
