The Role
Overview
Design and support water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects.

Tasks
-You assist in basic interpretation and verify compliance with applicable codes and engineering standards and practices. -You perform basic calculations to analyze and design water/wastewater/stormwater system components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software. -You assist the team in preparing water/wastewater/stormwater designs, drawings, specifications, presentations and reports, and gather information to support design decisions. -You assist the team in providing support services during construction that can include submittal reviews, responses to requests for information and contract document clarifications. -You work with other engineering disciplines and professionals in the coordination of the project under the direction of a senior engineer.

What You Bring
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an emphasis on Civil Engineering or related field. -Strong interpersonal skills for working in diverse team environments with staff, clients, and stakeholders, including working in remote/virtual settings. -Up to two years of related work experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience. -You perform field work related to construction related activities as required. -Knowledge of relevant discipline software programs and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, ArcGIS, WaterCAD, HydroCAD and others. -Ability to solve complex problems using sound professional judgment, creativity, collaboration, and innovation. -Possesses excellent time management skills; thorough understanding of task assignment and schedule, budgeting and efficient use of time and resources. -Must be available to travel for outoftown projects when required (10% of the time) -Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to effectively discuss project issues with the project team and support the development of project solutions. -You use knowledge of general concepts of relevant engineering elements including the analysis and design of water supply, distribution and treatment systems, sewerage networks, stormwater management, and land development. -A welldeveloped understanding of concepts around relevant areas of water/wastewater infrastructure design.
